Maricel Flamenco
Maricel Flamenco is an Argentine attorney based in Córdoba, admitted to the Bar of the Province of Córdoba and before the Federal Courts of Argentina.
Her practice is devoted to the legal protection of persons in situations of vulnerability, with a particular focus on survivors of gender-based violence and on the rights of persons with disabilities.
In gender-based violence matters, she assists complainants throughout the proceedings, from the initial report to final resolution, including applications for protective and restraining orders, exclusion from the family home, and the coordination of criminal and family court proceedings.
In the field of disability rights, she works on legal capacity determination and supported decision-making, guardianship proceedings, and access to benefits and health coverage, including disability certification, non-contributory pensions, and claims against health insurers and providers. She holds a postgraduate degree in Law and Disability from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA, 2020).
She also advises on family law — divorce, child support, parenting time, custody and filiation — as well as criminal and social security law.
She holds a law degree from Universidad Siglo 21, where she is currently completing a Master’s degree in Procedural Law, and is a founding partner of Herrera & Flamenco Abogados.
